this is not organized loot and cheating. Retailers must however tell in advance to the consumers that no discount on GST. Many retailers are also providing discount on GST. Let's b practical. a retailer can cut his margin and pass on the benefits to consumers but GST is a statutory payment made to govt. not pocketed by the retailer. Ms.Biswas this complaint has been appearing in the Weights & Measures and Connected Consumers right from 2017 November . I am not sure how to reach the Government , when the authorites keep their eyes closed . Where do we go for justice collectively . The Government should take the cue from these complaints and take action on the Profiteering greedy traders . Otherwise we will have to avoid such traders totally . more

This theft is very common by the Kishore Biyani group (Future Retail) in their malls like Central, Big Bazaar, Brand Factory, and many other outlets run by him. Many a times I raised this issue with customer care but they never listen to us. The MRP of INR3699 includes GST and after discount INR1849.50 putting GST of INR91.50 again on the reduced price is a crime. It is actually gross violation of rules but nobody takes any action as few people got the monopoly in the market and no action will be taken against Ambani, Adani, Biyani and Babani (Ramdev Baba-Ptanjali products). Many shops of Patanjali are closed in recent days due to unknown reasons. As an alert customer, we should avoid going to them and visit individual brand store for purchase. more
