Breaking roads to erect arches, Poles etc
I find that roads are constantly being misused and dug up to put up VIP arches and lighting poles for marriage functions, Mata ki chowki etc. Who gives these permissions and who pays for repairs? more

Police and Municipal give permission after taking bribe. If one is a heavy weight or have the great Indian Jugaad then no need to pay bribe. The only thing this country requires is to enforce rule of law for all - no exception at all. more

We immediately need to standise the system of laying speed breakers ion the roads. People are laying speed breakers without any consideration to the moving vehicles. Speedbrekaer are being laid infront of the houses of influential persons,netas and bureaucrats nd the height of the speed breakers mocu above the standard. Municipa Corporations should control this menace. It should allow only speed breakers only at schools, road crossings only. Muncipal rules are not strictly enforced. Blaring loudspeakers are the norm of the day. Everybody talks about air pollution. Hardly anyone refers to noise pollution. Also, Govt school grounds and the like are given out for marriages, functions etc. The aftermath looks like a war-ravaged area with litter generously thrown around. Functions including marriages are fine but they should not become a cause of headache in every sense!! more
