Bribe
To-day at about 2 PM, when I was working in my office, a Delhi Police constable came in my office to take bribe from a man who is constructing a new house after demolishing the old one. I was shocked to see this and ask them to live my office. After inquiring form that man, it has been revealed that being a ban of new construction in an unauthorized colony, the game is being played by Delhi police & MCD Officials.
Can any one guide me to curve this act as soon as possible and newly chaired CM will take cognizance on the issue. more

I agreed with Gopinath remarks. and very successful if MCD Team can audit timely and should pass general information to the public about it. more

I am relay sorry for the unfortunate situation facing by the man in constructing a new house demolishing his old one. We definitely can't tolerate the police officer asking bribe. But we must appreciate the orders of the Government demarcating an area in which residential building is not allowed due to specific reasons. In such situation, it is the duty of the Government to avoid the inconvenience of the general public or to offer alternative facilities. more

Agree with Mr. Bawa, since it is illegal to construct in unauthorized colonies, it is fault of the person who is trying to build it and bribing the policeman. However it should be brought to the Delhi Govt to curb such illegal constructions being done under police custody. more

If it is prohibited to construct or reconstruct a building in an un-authorized colony, then why should the owner was taking such an action. It is some of us who encourage corruption. more

People pay bribe partially because either they r in a hurry 2 get a job done or want 2 bypass the system. more
