One of the top sources of cash generation in manufacturing/construction/real estate companies is sales of scrap/left over material. The cash generated is used to fund bribe payment needs of the business.

No body allow to enter the office,. Let all payment by post. Punish/catch the payer not the accept or. more

First I would like to state that none of the manufacturers pay bribe willingly. It is the fear that their unit will be sealed or will be penalised heavily by various authorities like labour deptt, pollution control board, ...etc etc.... for meeting the set parameters. Even if cash generated thru scrap is stopped some other way will be found. In my opinion we should look for meeting parameters required by various deptts so that manufacturers do not fear from authorities. Simultaneously we should seek cooperation from authorities to meet parametres. The authorities needs to help manufacturers and not to look for faults to get their share more

This has become a way of life. People are comfortable to achieve individual goals irrespective of merit and so they way involves corruption. We need to take the little difficult path. Go for right process, success will come, but may take time. more

There are some improvement due to change in Govt policies, but for Babu's and clerks in all Govt department, it is like "old habits, die hard". These people had devised delay tactics to beat industry friendly policies. like in PF department, if you any question about your PF, the reply from clerk is file an RTI. Why should I file an RTI to know my basic employment details like date of joining etc. more
