Bribery hitting peak during COVID-18
Bribes are back friends and organisations like Transparency International are not doing much.
Bribes being taken openly from migrants who already have tokens for train and bus travel. Police are lying that they need another medical test and stop them..then ask for bribes.
Similarly where businesses are opening after 60 days and local permissions are needed, bribes are being demanded.
Even heard of agents that will help bring your stranded overseas family back Through GOI flights by managing affairs from start to finish (embassy, getting listed for flight And even ensure your family member is able to skip mandatory quarantine)

Did you experienced any kind of the illustrated incidents in recent days? Further, for bringing back the stranded family members why should any one approach any agent instead of directly approaching the concerned departments on compiling the required formalities! Infact we have become habituated in approaching shortcuts by spending out of the way and then cursing our government and the officials for bribing, which only turnish a nation's image. more

In this case, a public awareness campaign should be adopted by the Government(s) with a copy to the law enforcement agencies. The awareness campaign should left to the public to report such bribery cases to a particular telephone number of Vigilance Department / CBI who can take necessary action. Because, the COVID-19 crisis is not going to end soon. more
