Broadband issues

There have many lot if polls on mobile call drops. Today, more than calls, it is broadband and data that us more used. Polls in the quality of broadband would be useful to know the problems faced by consumers.
If late, the BSNL broadband (Bangalore) that I have had been very erratic. It goes on and off ver often. During a net transaction, even if it goes off for a minute, the transaction is either partial or fails completely. Despite the fact that they have increased their rates, with quality detioration.
Complaints get addressed within a few minutes or within an hour. This shows that bsnl needs to have stronger monitoring of their network at their end. more

BSNL has only itself to blame, poor quality of service or no action on complaints...from times when per minute charge was Rs.24..lethargic attitude of the whole hierarchy of BSNL.The company was bound to fail. As you sow so you reap more
The deficiency in broadband service is intentional, so that the organisation can be taken over by other private players. more
BSNL ( like all Govt. PSUs) have been killed by the highest echelon to the lowest level employees. I was a die-hard protagonist of BSNL (Incl. all PSEs/PSUs), but with a heavy heart - I had to snap all relations with them. As on date, I am having 2 landlines and 3 mobile phone connections, my daughter is having 2 mobile connections and another 3 broadband dongles - but, none from BSNL. more
BSNL is a classic example of how a profit making company is killed in a planned way. May be the people at top (decision makers) wished it so. They may also have been on the payroll of the competitors. Otherwise how is it possible for a well setablished organisation with so much lead in business having a near monopoly come to this state ? The railways are also showing similar signs private trains are already being discuussed. more
MTNL Mumbai is in Total Mess. Working is much below the expected level. more
