BSNL and POST OFFICE are running in loss???

Can someone tell me whether TRAI gave their reports before 2G tender for satisfying the basic criteria to get the tender and when corruption in 2G tenders was spoken as a big matter, where million dollars of money was lost by the government, whether TRAI was able to support this statement? Because as a regulatory body they would have also watched the way tenders sanctioned and are they don’t have power of suggesting minimum tender amount so as to raise the income of the government???
When other mobile networks where able to market their products, why the BSNL mobile and internet products have not brought any profit to this sector?? Is it because of the rate fixed by the government is high or the price package is not being marketed properly in the market?? In post office they are selling mobiles (If the mobiles sold are original many will confidently buy it) along with that if the price rates of BSNL are given would be a way to market their products. more

Why the government has not taken any step to make the employees work. Sir you are talking about LL and BB where I also faced the problem of poor service. That is one side, when the private companies are able to provide proper broad band service why are the government sector is not able to. When it comes to mobile sim card and the data card needs no man power for giving connections even in that service BSNL is not able give better profit. more
BSNL's efforts to compete with private operators have not been successful mainly because of indifferent attitude of its staff. Unions and employees are not committed to work and largely unaccountable. There is no commitment, involve ment, dedication and integrity . In my own case for a new LL and BB for my residence, even 15 days after paying the money, I am yet to be provided with the connection. I live in an area adjacent to the International Airport and you can imagine the plight of others.BSNL has not changed for the better and it is high time something radical is done to resurrect this public sector. Otherwise 'Digital India' will be in dreams only. more
1. Employee morale lapsed as was proved with the issue of Simcard issue in BSNL finally . 2. Postal though sincere and responsive , will not have to be energized and expanded with the introduction of Digital India ; Net Grievance Desks ; use of Postal orders inplace of Currency above Rs.100/- where Banking system is poor and far reach . more
This is what is the Story of every PSU in India ... Height of 'Mismanagement & Poor Planning' ... a regular drain on Taxpayer's money and no one cares..:( more
