Bucket handle tear of MENISCUS

Hi , Few months back I had a knee pain and after doing MRI Scan doctor advised me to go for Artoscopic surgery of Menisectomy of my Right knee .
Can someone please advise me more about this as I do not want to go for surgery. My age is 50
Years more
