Kindly let us not misunderstand that there is no corruption in private sector, within. They ignore to reasonable extent. If we go by Ramachandran, why not totally privatise. Please understand that Railways were built from scratch from out of public funds and now when it is ripe to give it in private hands is not fair. Let them start new lines, if needed from scratch. more

Allowing everything to the private operators is shaking off the responsibility in certain fields which are usually kept as government's duty prerogative to keep it for itself for management. Railways must be one of them. IT should be strictly under Government control. The efficiency of the Railways has to be ensured at all costs by eliminating corruption and rewarding the staff who play the exemplary part in its efficient service and progress. Let Indian Railways be self-sufficient organisation. more
