BUDGET INPUT-HIGH URBAN PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION COST

I request the concerned ministry to look into the following fact/s:-
The Local Transportation costs in urban cities are very high for instance, in Bengaluru we need to pay Rs.5 for 2 kms (which is very high compared to Rail and State Transport costs are concerned). The Public Transport system is being used mainly by poor and middle class people whose monthly income of 30 - 50 % will go for conveyance expenses only. consequently this leads to :
01. Urban Poverty.
02. The Bachelors who have come from Rural/ Villages will be left with no money to feed their Rural Families.
03. High Urban Public Transportation Cost motivates people to go for their own vehicles which leads to pollution and Traffic Congestion. more

We need to consider the following :- 01. Consider other Urban and Semi Urban Cities along with Bangalore. 02. In Bangalore IT related employees are only a part of mass living population (of Bangalore). 03. The City (Local) Travel costs are relatively higher than that of State/ Inter city travel costs i.e., the govt., needs to subsidise these costs. 04. The average Salary of Private Sector Employees other than I.T. is aprox., 12 to 15,000 p.m. more
What I was about to tell is if the percentage of people getting good salary in Bangalore is more then the cost of transportation can be high, Just because they get income in turn they can also contribute for their travelings by which government will get income. It is also in case of Chennai, Nellore, and many more places. for eg., Metro rail passengers and the sub-urban train passengers might differ depending upon the cost of the ticket rates, If the people think that they need to save money not to show their status with the people who get income. People need some time to raise their acceptance level. more
Pls don't consider Bangalore alone as our country, that is just an example. And In Bangalore there are plenty of other class of people.... more
I don't agree third point. Is the bus charges are too costly than the people who spend for the individual vehicles??? The percentage of people in IT company with good salary in Bangalore will decide the urban poverty, which can be used for deciding the cost of transportation. more
