Disappointing budget for senior citizens. Senior citizens have only one source of income, i.e. interest on Bank FDs. Earlier high interest rate gave them higher income, but these have reduced substantially & LIC policy now announced also carries lower interest. Further 2.5 years ago many items didn't attract Service Tax like "MEDICLAIM INSURANCE", but now even medical insurance is heavily taxed ( ST ). Therefore, on one hand lower income & on the other higher outgo by way of taxes. This budget is bad for senior citizens which must be corrected. Infact Govt. need to madical insurance for seniors 'FREE'. more
Improving the safety, health, education and job situation for girls and women. Hindustan Times "...Thousands of girls are killed every day in India, which was ranked 130 of 155 countries on the UNDP’s gender inequality index in 2015, worse than countries including Cambodia and Zimbabwe, on parameters such as infant mortality and education. Daughters are often viewed as a burden because of the dowry system..." Modi-ji is trying, let's do our part. Jai Bharat Mata more
61% have rated good mean they have to well settled others are face burden, Income Tax amount 2.5 to 0000????? It is very bad, Poor People cannot save their money because they meet more expenses, I ask our Circle People 10k to 15k Income People (Private Company) what to do!! Govt. can help them how will find? all Political Parties are to do same, no one do favor with Poor, If they announced very much that only on paper level never proper implement. more
Senior Citizens whose income is less than Rs. two lakhs per annum may be required concession on medical treatment because many such citizens are not monthly pension holders and moreover they are working to meet their needs for survival. If possible, government may be permitted to assist government staff on monthly paid basis. more
