Sir,last year I purchased 3bhk flat for 1.3 cr.gave 80lac through cheques and took possession for tiling and interior work.but now he is denying to give sale agreement as I want to avail home loan from bank.he is demanding that I give balance amount in cash,where as I told him specifically in d beginning itself that I will b paying entire sale proceeds through cheques only. I am worried as builder is not giving me sale agreement despite my repeated request. He threatens me if I complain and go to court he will throw away my belongings / furniture etc from the flat.i am homeless and seek advise and guidance from lawyers .is it legal to demand cash? What shall I do? Builders are very influential.he has registered the flats of other buyers for 40-45 lacs.i know if the matter goes to court it may take more than ten yrs. my life has become hell. more
