Building material shops cause pollution

Dear Sir,

Please note there are building material shops being run in residential colonies after paying hefty amount of money to Police and M.C.D. officials illegally. Although they are not supposed to be run like this. They are causing lot of air and noise pollution and are main cause of Bronchitis among people living nearby and causes lot of dust. So please take necessary action and stop such kind of none sense with immediate effect.

Thanks with best regards. more

In my opinion this can be one of the reasons for Bronchitis but not responsible alone. The vehicular movement have increased tremendously and the smoke emanated by the vehicles are responsible for the bad air and pollution. Think and act. If the people are checking their vehicles from heavy smoke. Answer is no. I am the adviser but I am not acting on the principle of vehicles. It is easier to say but difficult to act. our countrymen have become used to for adopting the bad practices as our Govt did not act strictly for implementation of rules in vogue. Our leaders are more responsible in violation of any kind of act in force. Every responsible person is involved in bad practices. Hence, at this belated stage it is difficult to find the solution. Our judiciary is ruling the country. The Orders of judiciary are not being implemented. The orders have become farce for the politicians ruling our country. They have left the people at the mercy of God. It is upto him to live or die. Unless and until we resolve and assert, the situation is not going to change. Hence let us resolve to hit hard the Govt in every front. During the election campaign, the political parties are have blame games to make fool of the people. The residents failed to realise their mistake because they have vested interest in the Party in particular. I am of the view to act judiciously and blow up your power in useless words of the political party. This is the time to act with sincerity if otherwise it would be too late. Go deeper in the problem and act with head, heart and mind. Jai hind. Ram Yadav more

Building Material are governed by Mining Deptt. they should have valid royalty slips they have to obtain Pollution Control Board approval as the dust emitted from the material is Hazardous to health Mr S N Gupta is correct that they greased the palms of people responsible to take action more
True that building materials cause pollution but these would be required even for maintenance of residential area. When such establishments started in outskirts cost of transportation and easy availability has been the issue. Even residential areas have come up in and around such outskirts. The need is different. [1] Sensible handling and stocking methodologies. [2] Appropriate transport mechanism. [3] Segregation of bulk and retail centres. [4] Retail merchants must have associated bulk merchants/centres. [5] Cost to retail buyer should not be unduly inflated. more
Lots of colonies have these since long time. Police municipal corporations MLAS councillors govt officials all know about it. Has anything been done about it ? No. more
