In girls toilet, female cleaner should be deployed to avoid any mishappening. more
The toilets where ever they are should be maintained well. We see toilets with foul odour and wet floors make people averse to enter the toilet and they defecate, urinate on the entrance of the toilet making it worse. The toilets should have appealing entrance, clean dry passage and ceramic tiled floor which could be mopped frequently. Their should be team monitoring the cleanliness of toilets and no money should be collected by the contractor. The cost and maintenance should be included in the annual property tax and the municipal waste and water/sewage tax. This will remove corruption by the contractors. more
Deploy local skill manpower to build toilets for girls in school------maintenance /cleaning to be carried by swachhya abhayan team more
Many thanks Sukhwinder Singhji for your appreciation. Really the authorities of such institutions must have to be compelled to provide toilets at the earliest failing which Government should take appropriate action against such institutions and the people in-charge of such jobs. more
It is extremely unfortunate that after so many years of so called independence we are talking of toilets for girls- why not for all students/staff? Why should we not hold accountable the people who designed schools without toilets? Why involve politicians into this- why not hold the principal/DEOs responsible? What have they done during their visits/inspections? Col A P Gupta(Retd) Secunderabad more
