Bullet train

We have many other critical issues for nation. Govt. must spend first on basic need in nation like water to drink and water for agriculture. This will help nation to get away from basic problem. In case of bullet train Govt. will be spending Rs 90,000 Cr. and the train has limited scope, only Delhi to Ahemdabad. It is not worth. People can go by air which need no any govt. investment. The budget will increase again at the end of the bullet train project. There will be ample of scope for curuption in project. It is only show piece. Govt. will wast money on it. Govt. should spend mnoey on basic need like helth service to poor, water supply in every part of India. Govt should differ the plan for 15 more years. more

The Rs.1,00,000 crore for a 500 kilometer track does not include land acquisition cost and cost of trains. At this investment what will be the train fare?. To keep up promise Government may start with a subsidy on fare. And history tells that Government may request people later to waive subsidy. more
Either the government Corporations or, the private Agencies only can help and the Farmers have had been preferring and depending upon only the Mediators because they shell down the cash and lift in any season . If governments enter, there shall be the Inspectors , watchdogs , vigilance etc and etc as usual . Farmers will not care government suggestions on crop cultivation , timings etc., etc., and the govts will not and cannot curb adulterated Seeds , Fertilizers , Pesticides since it is high process from registering the case to Judgments after several un-known adjournments and there is none to appear on behalf of Farmer. more
You can never do away with middlemen in agriculture because they are either influential politicians or with high political influence. They pocket all the increase in price and farmers get practically nothing. more
Bullet train tracks at a cost of Rs.200 per kilometer for a 500 kilometer track will require at least 15,000 acres of land. For 12 more trains as per the diamond quadrilateral will require 12 X 15,000 acres of land. You will have 1,80,000 acres of land acquired and farmers evicted. more
Agreed. Govt should find out the ways and means so that farmers should get more amount for their crops than the brokers which will lead to better growth and less no of deaths. more
