Bullet Train

With the proposed budget for Bullet Train, we can construct a minimum of 20,00,000 Single Bed Room 1BHK houses. which is equal to Hyderabad or any other Metropolitan City. Budget for a 1 BHK is calculated at 5,00,000 but there are many corporate companies with innovative ideas, who can construct this with a cost of 2 to 3.5 lakhs. In that case 50,00,000 houses can be constructed. This will become a planned city. Land for companies / factories can be provided in the outskirts. This will become world's larges planned city, will definitely take a place in Guinnes Records. Although we need not do this for records. You are all welcome to comment on this. more

If the writer does not drink tea for a whole day today. it will save Rs 30.00 minimum and within 20 years it will become Rs minimum Rs 200.00 so stop drinking tea, having simple clothes ranging from Rs 20 to 30. walk on foot and we will save a lot of money. Anyway how many hospitals could have been builrt had we not had common wealth games or if we sell Rashtrapati bhavan or if we sell Supreme court and ask judges to have open trials and why our PM needs Bungalows, he can very wel sleep in a 10 by 10 slum as all other people are sleeping more
Bullet train is welcome as our country is growing, our Indian Railways should also progress. If Japanese had been in our place, they will think about progressing and also find ways to progress. They will try all the methods and policies that will definitely bring progress. No stopping until our country reaches Japan like grow and progress. more
TO achieve above first a single source of land will be required to reduce costs as per above mentioned level.then no outside company or country will want to INVEST their money which has low or no returns. Its not just that how many houses can be build with this particular amount, but who will be responsible for he project.i.e Central Goverment or state goverment. Then where will it be made, wil the required permissions and land will be available. At what amount those land will be available,Will the owners of the land be ready to sell their land and or will they agree to the land price paid to them,If this many houses are to be constructed then the land needs to be together i.e huge plot. How will the allotment be made, etc.First thing that will be require is the passing of latest Land bill from the parliament. What you have calculated is just the cost of construction and not whole project where land purchasing, transaction charges, process, civil permission etc will be required. more
I agree with Mr.Durga Prasad's views. Investment in infrastructure like Highway, Bullet train , will take the country into a new era. more
While every state Government is hell bent upon building houses and donating them to the supposed to be bpl population with the hard earned money of the tax payers, what is the purpose of even pumping in money which technically advanced countries like Japan are willing to extend to developing countries like that of ours. Consider the amount of direct jobs and ancillary business that a project of that magnitude is going to generate and the roll out of the GDP in the next few years. In a country with population of huge magnitude, any amount of money pored into such projects as housing etc is going to be reduced to a very small percentage per head of the population. Instead of housing projects, I would rather suggest for opting for infrastructure projects for building up good educational, roads, electricity and such infrastructure improvement which will take the country forward. more
