Cable TV / Satlite TV channel
Most Indian homes now have DTH services and the good old cable connection is a thing of the past. I have a DTH connection from Dish TV. This Dish TV people care too hoods for the consumers and as one has to pay in advance for their services, they pay no attention to consumers satisfaction. I pay Rs 7000/- per year for my DTH connection. They do not specify what channels would be available and there is no signed agreement for the connection. I had all the Bengali channels for the last 10 months and yesterday they withdrew all without prior intimation and when I tried to connect, a writing came on the screen that you have not subscribed for the channel. The same problem I am facing for the sports channel also. Knocking at the door of their customer services yield no result. I suggest :
1. There should be a contract document specifying the channels name.
2. If a channel goes off air, an alternate channel must be suggested with out charging extra.
3. If there is a fault with the services, they should rectify with out charging extra money. more

3rd class services including Dish TV, Ah when can it be free at least watching govt. Channels more

Yes, I agree. I have tatasky at my home, sports dhamaka pkg. Every now & then, the rates are being revised, from 270/m last 2 year back, its now 420/m. What it should be doubled in less than three years. Also noticed that, now many of the channels are of tatasky only, other free Channels are being replaced. more

Boycott private DTH and put National DTH which is free.If you know Hindi you can enjoy good channels with good T.V serials. You can save Rs.7000 per year.-Consumer Activist more

Dear friend, its a normal routine business practice by almost all the big industry where consumer is the only sufferer, no body care for consumer. more
