Calculations of PF amount
I am unable to understand the calculations done by PF dept. The amount I have received is almost the same that and employer invested. Where is the ineterst???

why dont the pf dept or any govt concern give hw the calculation been done for pension portion.which is our money coming as pension..if i am correct.. more

Hi Girish, Have you UAN number, If you have UAN number, just go to UAN member portal and check your passbook, there you will get entire amount and rate of current interest. If you have not UAN number, ask your employer of your UAN number. Interest will be calculated on EPF amount not on pension amount. more

Please ask your your employer or its concerned official to explain how the contribution is split and accounted for. When the interest is credited to the account will also be clarified. more

It is important that how much period U remain with EPF, how ever interest is mandatory. U must mail to P F commissioner. more
