TRAI has published Quality Standard parameters and also provided metering tools. Otherwise also sufficient metering tools are available. If your service provider is not able to match those standards then go to consumer court and file a case against Telecom company. Why are u dependent on TRAI to resolve your pain. With this attitude of yours, even BIS standards also won't be able to resolve any problem. more

I believe TRAI is a failed entity. TRAIN has done a blunder in issuing New Rules for cable TV, too, which has increased monthly rental by at least Rs. 150. more

TRAI was never effective and alert. The people therein have neither courage nor honesty but all of sudden they had become active during the last quarter of 2018 and implemented at their own a pricing system for DTH services just doubling the prices for the consumers. It was nothing but foolishness aiminf to favour the service providers owned by the corporate houses at the cost of the interests of the poor consumers who have developed the habit of taking all kind of injustice as their ill luck instead of fighting against such injustice. more

It is a unwritten though practical business model by service providers. TRAI( Toothless Rarely Active Institution) know this but do not want to do anything. more
