How does an individual communicate with authorities living in different city for their basic information needs? letters not accepted. mails don't get answered. RTI never answered, meeting personally at convenient time can never happen given their meeting schedules. are we in 21 century? where is e governance ? if it is an exception accepted unfortunately this has become the norm.sop of officials. complaints they are least bothered. finally common man has to pay the price for every thing. more

To my experience with government offices for the last 35 years, there is an inward cell where you are supposed to give your petition and you can get acknowledgement. Make sure do not given in envelope give a xerox copy and take the signature and stamp If you give the petition directly to the HOD do not expect and acknowledgement. You send your petition through registered post with an open petition not in envelope you will get acknowledgement more

Hello! Ranga Rajanjee , As per my experience , Executives do not give acknowledgement-signatures when asked for in their cabin-rooms. Their PAs are to attend to such matters firstly . Question arises as to an envelope sent in the personal name of the Executives duly rejected while on official duty for simple thing such as an Acknowledgement of having to accepting and receiving it . Some Executives say " take it outside " or " take it outside from the subordinate staff " . more
