Can India build Underground Cities

Kuwait has hit 63 degrees Celsius and Saudi Arabia has hit 55 degrees. Isn’t it time for India to consider building underground cities before we start getting to 55. Like to encourage every one to suggest what, how as we just cant control pollution.

Where is Ministry of Environment and Climate Change? more

So called smart cities those identified may be disqualified based on drainage system currently in use? It is not just giving a title ,They get qualified based on points with facilities, maintenance, safety and services. The scores will decide what city can be a smart city. I can create an assessment form how smart cities can be identified to qualify. more
If we can build underground drainage systems properly it is more than building cities. Even smart cities is a name sake identity .In reality they require assessment on the grounds of pollution level, waste disposal system ,water management ,education and health support, transport Etc. more
Idea of underground cities is useless unless we are going for nuclear war. Most important is to control population. more
Rather than thinking along the lines of underground cities, we must encourage or rather coerce people to go for 1 child policy for next 50 years at least. Water shortage, unemployment, plantation, everything will fall in line. more
Let's not waste our limited resources on such fanciful ideas. Let's think of practical solutions like conserving water, not polluting available water resources, planting trees for green cover, water harvesting etc. to create a livable environment. more
