Can long term intake of homeopathy affect sugar

My daughter who is a teenager is taking homeopathy for 2 years 6 times a day.

Given the fact that these are sugar balls, how do they tend to effect sugar levels (cause diabetes) and teeth (she takes last dose and doesnt brush after - Doc wanted that way)

Experienced and Experts - kindly advise more

Mrs. Naina Mittal, in her very plain query, wanted just to know whether continued consumption of homeopathic medicines in the form of sugar balls, will or will not affect the sugar level in her daughter. My learned friends could have confined to this lone point. 1. The present knowledge on sugar metabolism tells us that unless one has any defect in the system, mere consumption of sugar will not result in any elevated level of sugar in the body. 2. Homeopathic medicines are taken, generally, in very small sugar balls. One dose will not be at any rate, more than 2 grams. So, Mrs. Mittal does not have any reason to worry at all. 3. The 2nd point that Mrs. Mittal's dear daughter doesn't brush after her last dose for the day as desired by the physician, seems slightly awkward for me. Ideally, medicines should not come in contact with teeth. However, given the habits of children, we cannot rule out the possibility of sugar balls coming in contact with the child's teeth during the process of chewing. So, it is always suggested that after the last dose of medicines, ask her to rinse her mouth with clean water 3-4 times, if at all not brushing, before sleeping. I don't intend to go against the wisdom of the physician who prescribed the medicine. Best regards more
You have not mentioned what for your daughter is taking homeopathy medicines,it’s all depends what’s the drug used to potentiet, there are other ways in yoga to control diabetes as well as other disease, since your daughter is young age simple breathing technique can help a lot more
Long term use of any type of medicine be it Homeo or Allopathic or Ayurvedic has side effects. Only difference is the degree varies. And only person to comment on the side effects is expert of particular medicine system. Others may share there experiences at the best. But such may not be applicable for all, as each person is unique in oneself. Natural healing, depending upon your body constitution is perhaps the best way. Supported with proper nourishing diet, exercise, change of mental makeup and environment etc. Of course this path may take longer than what you are bargaining for. Best of luck for your daughter. more
Yes, It is hundred percent fact that Homeopathy medicines are not free for side effects. There side effect of each and every Homeopathy medicine as I have experienced has its side effects. Taking medicine six times a day is just like heavy dose of anything which is harmful. Though I am not a medical practitioner but what I share here is mere my personal experience. Even I do not know, what for your daughter is taking such medicines and what are these medicines but for the sake of wellness of your daughter I suggest for second/third opinion of specialized of Homeopathic medicine to avoid any risk to her life. more
