Can same product have diff MRP post gst
If no, this company kurl on is violating law. Consumer or Anti profiteering should book them. See attached more

It is very much possible to have different MRP for different states. Bread is another glaring example. There could be number of reasons to have different MRP State wise or Zone wise, the prominent being transportation and other local issues like service centre set up and accessibilities. But a difference of around Rs. 1,000/- or so in the Maharashtra and Gujarat is not understandable which need to be looked into. more

Request you to please take action after you understand why manufacturer have printed MRP in state wise. May be there are hidden expenses which varies in state wise like transportation. But variation is more than 800 Rupees. more

Madam & Sri Jayakumar Daniel, The answer to the problem lies in the resource raised by Sri Anil Rohra under the head "Different MRP in different states". Mr. Danielle's attempt to analyse the rationale based on CGST & SGST doesn't provide any justification either. This bifurcation is only for facilitating division of resources between GOI and respective states and is essential when you realise that GST is administered by corruption ridden sales tax departments of respective states. State Governmens, in spite of accounting being carried out by Accountants General, who are GOI appointees, can't be trusted for resource distribution based on allocation by Finance Commissions. The day won't be then far off when they will ask for a bribe for transferring GOI funds, given the trouble they create for medical re-imbursement of their own retired officials. more

The same product should not have different MRP, as the GST rate is same through out India. more
