Can the members share their experiences if they have faced such issues with any telecom service provider?

I am just posting a feedback received from one of customer of BSNL Noida. The feedback received even though is for BSNL Noida but is equally interested to share with the members.

"My telephone connection No. 0120-xxxxxxx was dead since 24th April 2015 and a complaint was lodged with BSNL telephonically at 1500 on 26th April 2015. A complaint No. 1024452710 was issued through SMS on my mobile 0987xxxxxxx.
It was surprising to receive a SMS from BP-BSNLCare on 29th April 2015, the content of which are quoted:
"Dear Customer, Complaint with registration number 1024452710 on phone number 0120-2463988 has been resolved. Please contact 1500 for any queries. Thanks for choosing BSNL as your service provider."
Since the telephone was still dead and the above SMS surprised me, I contacted SDO on 09412739048 (Mr. G.C.Gupta) which further surprised me when he stated that the telephones are dead because of cable cut. Further it was stated that BSNL is on the job.
Now,
1. when the telephones were still dead why the SMS was sent stating complaint stands resolved?
2. Is it that BSNL adapting to unfair business practices for avoiding penalty as per TRAI REGULATIONS?
The telephone is still dead as on time of writing the complaint. I would request for your assistance in the matter."

I request the members to update me with their views as I feel Faridabad residents must also be facing similar issues. I plan to consolidate and send it to TRAI. more  

I fully agree with Mr. Deepak Jain. All the loss should be recovered from the salaries of the Bureaucrats handling the PSUs as they are incurring losses for their own personal benefits either directly or indirectly. The houses of all the bureaucrats of such loss making PSUs need to be raided by CBI and other similar investigative agencies. more  
These loss making psu must either be punished severely or should be got rid off altogether What a waste of taxpayers money more  
We have similar experiences as Mr. Virmani Ji. more  
That is why BSNL and MTNL have made calls to Nepal at normal charges, as anyway calls will not be through ! Trying to gain goodwill without performance ! more  
I have faced this situation in Gurgaon a no. of times. Also, with YOU Broadband. more
