Cancellation of Railway tickets
In new web site it all tell the procedures about booking tickets. It is not written how to cancel the tickets? It is more complicated than the earlier web site. I have booked the tickets from Dhanbad to Ranchi for 17/7/2018 in Satabdi express. I am not finding the way to cancel it. It was very easy in the previous web site. Will the authority pay attention on this part. more

The new site is not user friendly .there is no history which was available in the earlier site. More over a correction is very much necessary if some body books return tkt after booking onward journey then it should warn to confirm the date of return journey .Recently I lost RS 1500 on cancellation as I came to know I have booked the return tkt on the onward journey date though I had to return after four days of my journey date. more

No doubt the new system of CRIS is very critical, needs study. Sr citizens are bound to go Rly counter for booking and cancellation. Ministry is making Railways more critical day by day specially trains running late and passengers amenity. more

No comment on this issue. I always make reserved ticket from Railway Kiosk and in case of necessity i get cancelled from Any Railways Reservation counter. more

Yes the new web site has lot of issues. I have lost few hundred rupees when the ticket was not issued. When I got the refund after a week I did not get the full amount. Unnecessary I lost money for no fault of mine. I tried the new site at least thrice and failed in all. Someone is right in saying that the our concern may not be reaching to those who created this new site. To avoid risk better to go back to old system of buying ticket from the counter. more

why are we so critical about everything without using our brains? I am sure we have the smartness to figure out such small things. And the comments are not helpful at all to the person who created the thread. once you log in, click on "my account" and select "my transactions" + "Booked ticket history". you can then select the specific ticket to cancel fully or partially. more
