Now a days every agency is try to LOOT the Common Citizens, and Govt is also least bothered. more
The service providers including the government agencies have crossed all limits in the name of conveyance fee but surprisingly, the government didn't yet came forward against such loot of common people. Just yesterday I booked 2 air tickets from Indigo website for Rs.3500 each for which they have charged Rs.700 as convenience fee , just 10% of the tickets cost. It's too much. It's the high time that government should interfere and completely ban such illegal charges once for all. more
I agree with Rohini's comments. Ask the government to lower taxes, rickshaw fares (which have gone up exorbitantly in Pune), lower GST on medical policies, and raising of rates for Senior citizens who are bearing the blunt but cannot do anything. I must have written to the PM and the finance minister umpteen times but to no avail. We are heading towards a government such as V. Putin!!! more
There should not be any convenience fee up to a certain amount, say Rs. 5,000/- , and, thereafter, at an incremental rate , say Re. 1/- per Rs. 5,000/- more
Why are we asking government to do this? Why not ask government to lower the taxes across the board? Price fixing of any kind by the government is a bad economic practice. It has been proven. This only hurts businesses and increases corruption. more
