Careless Railway train staff

The passengers who are boarding in between stations of a long distance express trains at night are treated like rudely by train crew.

Such passengers who board after 11 pm - for instance passengers boarding with proper reservations at Chennai on Express trains like Korba -Trivandrum express will get the following special treatment:

1. On your reserved irth someone will be already sleeping

2. TT comes after long time

3. even if you manage to wake up the unreserved passenger, he would have already used your bed roll.

4. to get a fresh bedroll for which you have already paid, you hunt for the conductor/cabin staff who will not be visible anywhere.

5. finally if your track one , he will say he is not attached to this coach

6. I f you are lucky to find the real one, he will say that he assigned to coaches so it takes time

7. even after 2 hours no one will come; mind you it is 1 am by then

8. Finally you walk up to him and threaten complaint, he will reluctantly give you two bed sheets which God alone can say fresh or not.Pillow covers are not changed.

This is the great Indian railway's service one gets after paying for all the stuff.

AUTHORITIES MAY LIKE TO CHECK SUCH TRAINS WHICH RUNS LONG DISTANCE AND TO MITIGATE OVERNIGHT PASSENGER'S MISERY.
MANY PASSENGERS BOOK UP TO CHENNAI AND CONTINUE TILL TRIVANDRUM FREE OF CHARGE PAYING SOMETHING TO THE BENEVOLENT TT. more

True.sometimes even short distance passengers with sitting accommodation uses the bed rolls during day time. more  
This is basically the handiwork of the Bogey Attendants, who to begin with are generally a rude lot. Service is nonexistent and if compelled is provided most reluctantly. I am a senior citizen and regularly travel between Mumbai and Nagpur and haveencountered similar situation with the train originating in Mumbai. more  
They are not bogey attendants, they are only bed sheet distributors. Has any one seen them attending any passenger other than giving bed sheets? I have been traveling for the last 50 years and have never seen them serving passengers in the bogey. They serve in First class where the reasons are different.
can any one confirm and authenticate that they are bogey attendants? more  
Too much job security is making the staff behave "I don't care'! So the solution for this kind of behaviour of staff is, by now, hope all know! more  
I agree. Permanency in jobs should be abolished and in stead performance evaluation based extension of service should be considered. Throw the Trade Unions which are blot on the Nation more  
It is ideal to provide bedroll after the boarding of the passenger. TT should provide the info about late joining passengers and coach attendant should be responsible to provide bedroll after he boards. This is actual procedure once this is ensured by Railway authorities this menace can be avoided to maximum extent more
