Carteling in air fares

I dont know if its just me or others feel it too, it appears that airlines have an understanding when it comes to airfare that let us charge a minimum airfare for a particular sector. With only 2-3 airlines left now and such an understanding between them we are at their mercy.

Can the competition commission be asked to look into this matter. Others kindly share your experiences. more

VGF Payment is not done timely, with the result Airlines are withdrawing the routes operated by them. Kishangarh Airport is the live example. Another is Airport was made with Half hearted effort. Only small A/C can Land. Big A/C like A320 and Boeing 737 can not land. Hill on one side and Radio Tower on other side have to be corrected. more
it's an Viswa Guru illusion more
It is a propaganda for 'Udey Desh ka aam nagrik' . In connivance with Corporate and Government, the fares are open. Similarly, the train fares have almost doubled in last five years without any protest. more
Just check out Delhi-Hyderabad/Delhi-Chennai flights...the price starts from 6.5K & goes upto 35K. Many times I have seen a few seats vacant despite paying premium price. How could that be explained by Airlines? Instead of Airport Management where lucrative profits are raked In..can't the Adani's & Ambani's fulfill the pipedream proclaimation of "Udey Desh Ka Aam Nagrik" which failed to take off at all? Where are those Aqua Planes which was to connect cities with ports? more
Udeh desh ka nagrik is an eyewash scheme. Because the criteria has been set as time of travel, not the distance. So airlines just time table a flying time of 1 hr 5 minutes for a flight which takes hardly 30 minutes. Why the DGCA allows this is the point to strike at. Its just shwong the moon to the general public. more
Many sectors it is happening. It is with many other sales companies also.Even there is no check and balances in market. more
