Cash Income of Delhiites
Most doctors in their own practice take cash. Some doctors taking a TON of cash and paying zero tax. Let that alone not even giving cash receipt. AAP needs to make all of this taxable. These people are plain cheating the Govt. more

We can certainly ask private clinics, hospitals and doctors for receipt of the amount they have charged as consultation. They come under the ambit of service tax. However, the amount they charge can not be regularised by the Govt. more

I feel, this is a practice to be followed by citizens. Whenever you go to any doctor, ask him for receipt. I am not sure on the validity of the same and how it can be back tracked so it should not happen somebody has paid and have receipt as well but charger still do not pay tax and keep multiple accounts/ booklets. They should now make Rupay use widely and ask every Indian merchant to accept it. more

For once the foremost step must be to improve the condition of the government hospitals because if good health can be accessed there the monopoly of private practice finish.Moreover the same doctors don't delover their brst when in hospital The government can start by cleaning these government hospitals.With AAP we can surely do it. In developed countries, even groceries cannot be purchased (even from small shops) without a bill/receipt. That is why this problem of Black Money is not visible there. Delhi should make a start in this direction by making receipt issuance as mandatory for every small purchase also. This should be started from small Kirana shops (or grocery stores) so that they in turn ask their suppliers to issue receipts/bills. Whole supply chain will start working on white money thereafter. Problem is that if distributor does not issue receipts in a supply chain, then everything is sold in black until it reaches the end user. So only way to curb this is by making receipts mandatory for end buyers or consumers. more
