Cast based Reservations

All Reservations should be abolished, but it will never happen due to Politics. All financially weak, should be given free school education. Those who cannot afford but get good marks and admission in colleges, states should fund their fee.
This is Dream, as those who are in politics, they will divide society on Cast, Religion, Region.
Indian Politicians have learnt only one thing from British, not their manners and how govt. supports weak. They have unemployment benefit for those who register for Job, get support till they get job.
This is my personal experience. I immigrated to UK in 1965. Received unemployment benefit for 7 weeks, till I got job with Ministry of Labour in London. more

If happens, in a short period, Castes and Casticism gets disappeared. This shall be the motto for Fraternity to remain. more
Very true and well said, lets hope some strong leader with good majority has guts to do away with reservations, but set up social support system of minimum income as being discussed more
Caste system in India is a cancer. It has created horizontal slabs in the society, labeled each tier with high Caste Low caste  Dalits etc. and prevented down trodden to rise up and gain power to rule.  Work sincerely to abolish caste. Reservation will automatically vanish. I agree the poor who are not included in the list (schedule) should get an opportunity to rise up. But Caste Base Reservation can not go when there is up and down strata in the caste based society, still exists even after 70 years of freedom. -- D D Bakde On Tuesday, 8 January 2019 10:53 PM, Madan Handa wrote: more
Provision beyond 50 years isn't justified. Those Sat in Constituent Assembly knew more than successors about reasons of Backwardness and wealth and resources of Country . Only economy shall be the base hereafter to be vigilant from political gimmicks and to have True mandates of Articles. more
Is there any value of deserving/competency in selection & assigning responsibilities of any post? more
In India this is not Possible. Most of the Politicians are self centered and family centered. Rare politicians like Narendra Modi, not others in the BJP can attempt but seldom succeeds . A curse to India. more
