Delhi PWD to redesign arterial routes, & attend sincerely to sweeping dust and removing it from roadsides expeditionally.These two steps of which the latter is so simple to do.Garbage dumping sites planning,and stopping of burning to accommodate more garbage disposal has to given attention like it is for improving slums conditions,setting up of mohalla clinics or schools improvement.UT Delhi Govt has to wake up realise this neglected area of city governance. This govt fails to realise that its rewards include good health & working conditions for the deprived sections of Delhi residents as much as all other welfare schemes launched for them. Political mass arousal only will make the ruling govt realise their folly. more

delhi govt can start odd even rule, but it is not sufficient, you have to check the puc certificate all of the industries. sources of air pollution is to be mitigated by air pollution control equipment i.e scrubber, beg filter dust suppression etc. more

I agree with Ravi- instead of cosmetic solutions we will an integrated solution to tackle pollution, climate change and global warming more

In my opinion the pollution in Delhi was never due to stubble burning to the extent claimed by people. Nor is it even now due to Garbage burning, though possibly garbage may be burnt by some people in some areas. The main reason for the high level of pollution is the dusty roads, and vehicles running at high speeds causing dust to rise. Drivers of cars, whether rich owners or their drivers just do not care that they are raising dust and drive at high speeds even in relatively crowded areas. more

First of all, Delhi Govt. should share an independent agency's environmental audit report for last 5 years highlighting what steps this Govt. had taken to address this most critical issue, followed by the money collected & spent on this account. Now everyone knows ODD-EVEN is only a political drama which gets some extra bucks in the pockets of auto/taxi drivers at the cost of huge inconvenience to the general public... when will you wake up!!! more
