CAUSES FOR BURPING , INDIGESTION & ALLIED COMPLICATIONS :
Eating fast is one reason : We have to give importance to the time we take while eating our food however busy we are . Just fing that 15 minutes exclusively for the food that we eat 3 times a day.
The size of the portions of food being too big : In a hurry bigger portions are taken to reduce the time spent on eating. Smaller portions are recommended , so that the food is mastigated (chewed)well in the Buccal cavity (the mouth ).The basics that we studied in middle school that food has to be chewed 32 times before swallowingto incorporate the actions of the enzymes and digestive juices. Wen we are in a hurry we tend to swallow bigger prtions without chewing . No doubt this leads to all gastric problems like Indigestion, gas, bloating, hiccups, heartburn, stomach pain, ulcers, and nausea.
WHY NOT WE GET BACK TO THE BASICS OF TAKING TIME TO CHEW THE FOOD WELL AND DO NOTHING (watching TV, reading , phoning , now whats APP. ) BUT EAT DURING THE FOOD TIME.
In Good Old days, there was a saying that each portion taken in mouth must be chewed 32 times.

Majority of people still not understand the importance of chewing the food properly. Over eating adds to the problems. If all people start chewing food atleast 20 times, many problems will disappear. improper digestion gives birth to many diseases.

It is said one should enjoy the food one eats only then it will show in the body. To enjoy the food one should eat slowly. Now a days people do not have time to eat slowly it is this hurry for every thing that is root cause for all our problems. Slow and steady wins the race.
