CBSE class X and XII results 2022 still not announced

It is very frustrating and disheartening for the students of class X and XII cbse board, who have appeared for the objective type Term 1 exams in December 2021 and are awaiting results anxiously and eagerly.

CBSE does not seem to bother about these children and their mental health as they are yet to provide positive feedback regarding, even the date of result.

What is the reason for the delay?
They have messed up the entire process as initially the OMR answer sheets were evaluated by the schools, which was later withdrawn, perhaps due to malpractices by some schools.
Interestingly, these OMR sheets are evaluated by machines and takes very less time to evaluate a answer sheet.

While on the subject, if OMR objective answer sheets evaluation process takes two months or more, how much time will subjective Term 2 evaluation take?
What we can construe from this delay is that, the college intake will happen only in September or October, eating away half of the 1st year college for these XII students.
We also realise that there are 30 lakh students awaiting XII results, which may have caused some delay, but announcing the date of result and the reason for delay is imperative for a Democratic society like india. CBSE has restrained from giving transperant information.

Also understand some students have approached the court citing
delay and cancellation of Term 2 offline exams, which once again reiterates the fact that they are testing patience of the students as almost all the boards have announced the results.

May the CBSE administration and MHRD look into the matter and provide a transperant and justifiable cause of delay and announce the results in Feb.

There is also a larger issue at work here. Lockdown witnessed citizenry's approval, which embolden government into doing what seemed ideal, also that which appeared politically more profitable, especially since prime minister's team got caught in the pandemic totally unprepared. However, optimisation, seeking a common but differentiated approach, many a times more appropriate than idealistic, especially when resources too are finite. Optimising required continuing examinations, seeing the example the world over. Cannot make out students' future with a single top down decision, which is what the powers that be, did. Now all responsible deciding authorities getting into a hurried twist restoring the status quo ante. Government, getting elected, earns such privileges as taking presidential action, suo moto, however consequences, such as mentioned by author above, thereof surface sooner or later.
Cancelling the examinations last year by the central government set the precedence and gave the momentum of the scale that was primarily wrong. India's Board exams are so well developed, being conducted since decades and recognised internationally, citing the pandemic, were suddenly cancelled. Mediocre students rejoiced, with some of them being made vocal that this government's decision was so wise. What about the hard working, meritorious examination candidates having who put their heart into learning? Was their opinion sought? Conduction the examination could easily have happened observing distancing protocols in any case followed during examinations! Does our prime minister value concept forming education, the foundation for a stronger nation.
Irony is, they do not answer calls from public. Even their enquiry no keeps ringing. Even if by chance the call is answered, they give a vague reply, "you have to wait, it will take time".
