Lack of security measures and proper vigilance on the question papers. more
It is due to the Coatching classes. In their competition, they resort to all such malafide ways to be one up. These coaching classes are to be banned. When all students appearing for the exams are equal why should some students have the edge due to coaching classes. The idea itself is absurd. To a certain extent, tuitions are okay so as to brush up a weak student. But Coaching classes are definitely not justified at all and ought to be banned. more
It is like saying why should all of India be frisked at Airports and Railway terminals for the risk of a few terrorists. In spite of the best of efforts if people are corrupt and unscruplous especially at the school principal levels (as in some states of India) then what to do? The students will have to pay the price for writing a re-examination. It is all very easy and well to blame but pray look deeply into and offer some solution based comment. more
You cannot just blame government or private school managementsfor the malaise The parents and society are equally responsible I amliving in Dombivli and closely connected with some organisations running schools of various denominations There are some organisations which were persisting on running only Marathi medium schools for decades Unfortunately there student strength started depleting so fast, as the attraction for English medium increased ,they had to curtail the number of divisions even some schools closed And all these schools were getting salary grants and hence are charging fees even affordable to manual labourers. Now to maitain the student strength and run the schools efficiently they have gradually moved to semi-English and English medium as even parents from poor families are after English medium Also it has become a fad among parents to admit their children to CBSE ICSE and International schools wvhich charge exorbitant fees I feel such people donot have aright to grumble about high fees as it was their choice more
I feel we are being very 'ivory towerish' and unfair squarely blaming the government for this mishap. On the ground such occurrences are truthfully almost a regular/normal annual occurrence especially in the Northern Indian states. These things are coming starkly into the open nowadays only becuae of the viral effect of the Electronic media and mobile technology. In a jiffy the matter spreads. Any system can only be as best as the quality / integrity levels of the people executing it at ground level. more
