Behera-ji, this is not easy. First step is to be taken by all the "Netas" of our country. They taught and are still teaching the people to dig the roads for erecting "swagat dwars" to welcome them wherever they go. These netas teach the people to smear all the walls, poles, trees, buildings, railway stations, bus stops/stands, railway coaches, hoardings, sign boards etc etc with their photos and banners. These netas teach the people to erect a stage in the middle of the roads to enable them to give their "bhaashan" and these are the same netas who demand that hundreds of loudspeakers be provided so that their sermons could be heard far and away. Hamare saare neta Narcissist hain, unko khud ke chehere se and khud ke aawaaz se mohabbat hai. more
Diwali is round the corner. There should be some serious initiatives by the local/state administration to spread awareness among public to spend less money on crackers and play safe Diwali, so that people in the neighbourhood are not inconvenienced. With every passing year, people spend more and more money to buy crackers, to celebrate Diwali with all pomp and splendor. Most people have to step on to the road to burst crackers. And the roads are full of cars and two wheelers and their number is ever increasing. While bursting crackers and in the Diwali excitement, we are least bothered about cars or two wheelers parked nearby. more
Have banners in public places asking to limit or reduce firecrackers bursting, in the interest of public. more
Celebrating Festivals should be orderly and in a civilized manner. Organizers are found to set up Puja Pendals and marriage pendals right on edge of a road if not on the road. They do not even spare the NHs. Even the road surfaces are dug out for erecting poles for decoration, arches and illumination. This practice causes obstruction to road movements and also damages to road structure apart from causing noise pollution. This practice should be stopped by the concerned Authorities. more
Duirn puja, we are interested in Devi idol, but the construction of pendal is a waste of money and meant for decorative purpose. The amount spent in pendal can be better utilised for construction of few house for homeless people. more
