Central and State govts seem to be giving up

Why has the Govt given up on taking steps to control the Pandemic?
Enforce masks, Enforce Testing, Contact Tracing.
Set up effective guidelines for markets/malls/buses/trains/metro.
Population health has a significant effect on economic health. more

Again the Rabic animal is out to bite the lady asking a legitimate question. Watch out his other replies. Must be a serious mental case if it's a human being. So we understand that we need to pay 34% Income taxes for FUN to Govt. and then buy every item and service paying additional 18% tax for EXTRA FUN and Salaries to babus. more
Ms Seema , I would like to know what u are doing at your level to curtail this problem?Charity begins at home...what precautions do u take...are you trying to educate people around you who do not understand the seriousness of the situation, are u strictly practicing social distancing..are you avoiding stepping out of the house wherever possible, are u avoiding ordering food from outside? Its easy to sit down and pass comments on what Govt should do .and it is this mentality which is causing the problems to multiply.Such posts do make us look intelligent in a group though... more
Good questions. more
I agree with Mr Nair and Mr Ratti. Govt has done enough. It has issued instructions and advisories. Now it is for citizens to strictly follow them. Otherwise we will be having world’s highest COVID infections and death. We need to take this seriously. People are taking ved lightly and we all will pay heavy price for the same. more
So you think responsibility of Govt ends issuing instructions?
Why most of the people are paying multi lac per member and getting bankrupt?
In Gurgaon it's all left to very Costly private hospitals with only few beds in 1 Govt facility (so you know the criteria to get it). May I know how a vegetable vendor facing 100 customers from close per day can strictly maintain guidelines?
Of course citizens must obey rules, but what about political leaders gathering masses? Who is there to show them the guideline? more
Government should do this, Government should do that, Government should not do that. Government must be efficient in handling disasters. Government should provide masks, helmets, lap tops, food, clothes, shelter, sanitary pads, condoms, take away pizza(free), stay home and do not work, the internet should be free, loans should be written off, or moratorium should be extended to 2050,make metro run with one passenger per compartment, don't take a bus, but walk on road that has no pavement, or sit at home at type out garbage and send it to local circles. When these parasites are fumigated and destroyed India will improve. People who live on someone else's income must be barred socially and ignore them. I am starting with this author. more
And I support the author who is questioning the Govt. Unlike you who just keep criticising members. Uncle, I wonder if your daughter in law ever visits you. You'd drive her crazy. more
I think that government and health related institutions have done a lot in cautioning the people about the dangers of Coronavirus. The masses should now take over responsibility. It's really shocking to see people moving around in crowded areas without masks, leave alone keeping social distancing. more
