Centre is mulling to defer NEET through ordinance

As per the news published in The Times of India today,
The Centre may again approach the Supreme Court in next two days seeking relief for states from implementing the court's order on holding National Eligibility-cumEntrance Test (NEET) this year.
However, if the attempt to defer NEET for admission to state medical colleges fails then the government might consider bringing an ordinance, sources in government said.

Though the Centre had initially favoured a common medical entrance test for admission to all colleges across the country , including private and state medical colleges, it now se ems to be in favour of deferring the same for states for a year amidst incre asing political pressure.

Request Mr. Modi not to bow down against the pressure from all such MPs , Politicians or people having nexus with them, who are either in management of private medical college or invested money in private medical college or own fully or partly of a private medical college and whose sole objective to churn money , money and money.
Think of the students who have been preparing for NEET 2. Should not be there one standard for all to clear the eligibility test?? more

This may lead to students from metros, CBSC stream etc standing a better chance than those who are in other streams and medium is local languages. A via media is to be found. Even the proficiency of students vsty from state to state. St the same time there is need to rein in private colleges' greed more
i don't know what to say. but every time this issue is raised, the entrance exams are about to take place / already taken place. who benifits from this? students are biggest losers. courts, i leave it to your judgement. the institutes and their supporters are the biggest gainers, in the form of donations. if they need to be binifited, do it by all means, but don't burden the good students, who deserve the seat, either through neet or local entrance exams. so, decide in the beginning of the academic year what the system is going to be. not when the students are all set to give their exams. i see the students are disgusted and throwing their books down every time center and supreme court do this flip flop. this flip flop is going on since 2011. high time it is put to a stop or as i said in the beginning confirm at the beginning of the academic year what system it is going to be for that academic year. i am also sure all the good students and their parents will support neet no matter which part of the country they belong to. even the patients will be happy, at least they know the doctor they are consulting is a deserving candidate and not some undeserving but loaded with money candidate. more
In one way the Powerful Rights of the individual States ; the other way the dependency of the Central Government on the States on so many , many times coming across the way of Indian Citizen to have even the Constitutional Provisions . In deed, though the State as a whole i.e, the Indian Union has full fledged right and Responsibility , will-fully at Political interest , passing on to States and thus just escaping at Centre . This is keeping many articles of the Public welfare and interest set in part IV and empowered in the Preamble ; away from the reach of the Citizen of India . Therefore , the apex Court only has to implement and Save . more
I am scared, if we get the exception for NEET this year, it would repeat next year, year after, etc. more
