Chairman Railway board resigns

Just came to know that Chairman of Railway Board has resigned after the two accidents.

A very strong ias officer with zero tolerance to chalta hai attitude is needed to reform railways and convert ideas of Prabhu ji into reality.

Is there an officer like this in India? Who? more

Is Railway Board Chairman Mr.S.N>Mittal resigning going to make any change or improvements in the poor state of affairs? All irresponsible in the two latest accidents from top to bottom should be held responsible and should be severely punished and public made known. Unless this is done, no improvements will ever be possible. more  
Strong administrators are required to fill up such posts. If the senior officers fails to do so, let the posts be outsourced. more

down the line maintenance staff should be accountable for any mishap .Presently railway are promoting the reservation basis peoples to the position of an engineers those who does not have enough required qualification,hence they are unable to co up with the new challenges.Hence it is suggested that only qualified person should be upgraded else fresh candidates should be appointed from Degree levels. more  
IAS officer will not be able to work ....there are many officers in the member and DG level who have worked as GM successfully more
