8. They are not allowed to use their weapons at all times in case of need
9. They are always looked down upon by the public

11. On most days, they only get about 3-4 hours of sleep

We must leverage the technology available at our hands. We can drastically reduce the over working of policemen. Which in turn will resolve lot of issues in their personal life, health and family. As a matter of fact let me put myself into the shoes of a policeman. (thinking myself as a policeman) 1) Every case, other than being assigned to me, it will be in parallel assigned to a next shift personnel also 2) We both will have a Case Tracking assistant, who will be fed with details of the case 3) Case tracking assistant, doing analysis on the case (Using Crime and Criminal mind analysis), it suggests few measures, few case studies to us, few tips, tricks, moles, helpers, experts. 4) We have a choice to understand what it gave us, or proceed on our own thinking and analysis path 5) Now, whatever I think, plan and act, I put into the Case Tracking assistant, which will be immediately available to the 2nd Personnel in the next shift. (The challenge here is to bring the policemen to a level of emotional balance, reduce disparity, and bring fraternity among themselves, so that society benefits from their synergy) 6) The 2nd personnel, when he takes over the charge, he can look at the "Case Tracking assistant", for 10-15 mins, to see what I had done, and continue from there. The Case Tracking Assistant can also send order/request/alert to the cops around the "Crime spot" to make arrests, do inquiry, or just monitor. They don't need a vocal instruction from the case "owner" 7) The Station in charge has access to all cases in the "Crime Tracking Assistant", to see the progress, comment, or warn the subordinates accordingly. The "Case Tracking Assistant" can also inform the victims about the progress, or call the victims, without the intervention of the police directly. 8) The "Case Tracking Assistant", can file a case, or raise an application for bail, as requested by Police 9) The case tracking assistant, can be present in the court to present the FIR against any suspected to the "Honorable Judge". The Police themselves need not be present. 10) The Case tracking assistant, from time to time, during the case study progress, does its own analysis, and provides some tips and hints to me/2nd personnel what could be next step. 11) Citizens who are experts in different areas of technology, crime, sports, defense, weapons, are logged into the system to seek their expertise. Now, this is not a small job. However if we are committed, and leverage what we have in hand today in the name of technology, it is not impossible. I wish all policemen spend good time with their family, take care of their health, and live a comfortable life, than regretting the job which is shown as frustration towards the citizens. more
