Change in tariff plan within its validity by mobile companies

Recently there have been many posts about withdrawing of tariff plan within its validity e.g life time tariff plan. While in my view the companies cannot change the tariff plan within its validity period, however I request members to provide following details so that the matter could be studied and raised to TRAI with factual position.
1. Name of telecom company
2. Name of tariff plan
3. Validity of the plan
4. When subscribed to tariff plan
5. Details of the plan and the validity offered.
6. When company changed the plan
7. Details of the new plan
8. Wether any consent taken before changing plan

The details could be either provided in response to the post or may be sent through email. more

Dear Mr. Virmani You are yet to respond to my request. more
Sir, Since the post was quite lengthy in respond to your query, I have brought out the legal position in an article posted on my blog (link of the blog is in my profile). The copy of this article has already been mailed to TRAI. more
Recently I tried to top up talk time on my mobile which has airtel sim. To my surprise, this option is no more available and you have to recharge with one of the data plans. I am forced to buy data even though I am not using it. I request the forum to take up this issue also along with other issues with TRAI. more
Yes there must be some plans without DATA. more
TRAI and DOT very well know this problem, through number of posts and emails. They can call any customer and check the truth. more
@S.B. Tripathi Ji, Sir, I have already clarified that the plan cannot be withdrawn from the subscriber during its validity or a minimum period of 6 months whichever is later. This is across all the telecom service providers. Plan with Lifetime validity means till the time company is in operation with a valid licence. more
Dear Mr. Virmani. No need of such details as concern has been raised by mostly customers having lifetime validity. Therefore kindly clarify about correct legal position about all mobile service providers insisting for recharge even for incoming calls to even persons having lifetime validity and stopping the services in default. more
