Charging gst above price
See attached how online websites continue to charge gst above price and mislead consumers. Shouldnt a mrp discounted by x% form new mrp and then they charge gst on top. Why arent mrp officials not taking action? Will gst officials take action. more

HALF THE TIME, THE GOVT. LEAVES THESE MANY A THING UNSAID TO CREATE AN "UNCERTAINTY". THIS IS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, BY THE UNSCRUPULOUS ELEMENTS IN THE DISTRIBUTION NETWORK OF VARIOUS PRODUCTS AND EARN A BAD NAME FOR THE GOVT. M.R.P. is the amount the consumer pays the seller and takes the product . It is not at all right for the traders to do this. I don't know how this practice keeps on going despite several complaints in the circle with proof attached. Aren't there any Legal metrology personnel watching reading these posts and attachments . Do they they expect the consumers to go to court after the departments fails to do do its duty. Why can't they give a clarification like in other instances ? Service ta charges there was an order saying that it is not compulsory but Optional. Now we as consumers also use our discretion when we see such huge discounts almost 50 % The trader is playing on our greedy thought also. When we see the buy one take one free tag , we fail to watch the price and what foremost in our mind is the free item that is offered. We have to look at the price at which we will take away . CONSUMER HAS TO BE AWAKE AND NOT FALL FOR CHEAP STRATEGIES THAT MAKES ONE A FOOL. more

This case is of Unfair trade Practices and the only solution to file complaint in consumer forum of your district. Legal Metrology department is useless and not going to take any action. Choice is Yours. more
