Cheated by LG

I purchased LG water purifier in the month of November last year. Since then I noticed that my family members including me have some health issues so after around 6 months I called LG professionals to check the water quality of that purifier. They told that the TDS is is 26 PPM only. Healthy water must have 150 to 200 PPM TDS. I requested them to to resolve the problem but they said LG water purifiers cannot be corrected. now they are not taking it back and they are not ready to solve the problem. At the time of installation they took around 18000 rupees in the name of of AMC for 5 years now I am trapped so first of all I recommend that nobody should purchase LG water purifiers. Secondly please suggest a way out from this situation more

This is a good point worth discussing It is true that, while the REVERSE OSMOSIS, takes place, several micro nutrients in the water is lost .That is why some observe that BOILING and filtering water is the safest. more
I also faced same problem more
Legal action against the company may be the last recourse. more
Clarify few points. A) while purchasing have they checked the tds of water? B) if tds is less, purification to be perfect. C) all purifiers and cover all defects and malfunctions, hence, suppliers shirking their responsibility is questionable. D) you details problems faced by you, your family since installation of this purifier. E) since you have AMC for five years, you keep registering complaints and note down the registration details. F) if you have all details I.e., purchase bill,AMC contract, terms and conditions, their service report etc. Collect all details. G) write a registered a.d. letter to the supplier, endorse a copy to the consumer forum, and post a copy of letter with all enclosures in social media for addressing your claim. Watch and see the development. more
You may request to manufacturer in writing , by giving two three reminders even if it is not getting redressed your complaint you may proceed for legal help. more
