Cheating by Hospitals/Doctors
Recently my wife underwent C-Section. For C- Section (only for operation) doctor charged Rs.25000/-, anesthesia Doctor charges-Rs.6000/- and Assistant Doctor Charges Rs.5000/- and Children Specialists charges Rs.6000/- (only doctor charges were Rs.42000/-) and the final bill amount ( including hospital charges, medicine, anesthesia drugs) was Rs.81054/-. I wish to bring attention that Doctor Charges of Rs.25000/- only for 5 minutes work, whether it is reasonable?. These doctors are sucking money from the people. At present, they do not have any limit for charging to patients. Governments should take proper action for such kind of doctors or fix the limit. more

If you cheaper treatment,then you should have either a govt. hospital or got insurance (health). C SECTION SURGERY IS MOSTLY DONE TO LOOT THE PATIENTS. IT IS UNNECESSARY AND AVOIDABLE IN 99% CASES. IN ADVANCE COUNTRIES LIKE JAPAN C SECTION SURGERY IS DONE ONLY IN EXCEPTIONAL CASES AND ONLY AT VERY BIG HOSPITALS. THEY CONSTANTLY MONITOR THE CONDITION OF MOTHER AND CHILD (HEARTBEAT ETC.) AND INDUCE NORMAL BIRTH. AT TIMES THEY USE SUCTION PUMP TO EXTRACT THE BABY. OR PUSH THE BABY DOWN BY PUTTING PRESSURE ON MOTHERS BELLY. IT MAY TAKE TIME BUT RESULTS IN A HEALTHY MOTHER AND BABY. C SECTION SURGERY CRIPPLES THE MOTHER FOR LIFE AND BABIES MAY SUFFER FROM SOME DISEASES FOR NOT HAVING EXERTED EFFORT FOR THE BIRTH. THIS MAY CAUSE PROBLEMS LIKE UNDESCENDED TESTICLES. THE TESTICLES ARE IN POCHES AND COME OUT IN THE SACK DURING THE BIRTH. HEALTH MINISTRY SHOULD ISSUE STRICT GUIDELINES FOR SUCH SURGERIES AND PUNISH THE DOCTORS AND NURSING HOMES FOR MISGUIDING THE PATIENTS. THEY SHOULD MAKE IT COMPULSORY TO CHARGE NOT MORE THAN CGHS RATES FOR ALL PROCEDURES AND SURGERIES. JOINT REPLACEMENT IS ANOTHER SUCH A RACKET. THEY ARE REPLACING THE GOD GIFTED JOINTS WITH PLASTIC JOINTS WITH LIMITED LIFE AND SURITY OF PERFORMING WELL. IN MANY CASES THE BODY REJECTS THE FOREIGN BODY IN THE BODY AND SERIOUS INFECTIONS DEVELOP MAKING ONE CRIPPLED FOR REST OF LIFE. MANY HAVE BECOME SO ILL THAT THEY DIED PREMATURELY. more

Doctors are there to loot. Some body advised to go to government hospital. Recently I went NIMS in hyderabad. It is a free clinic in the morning and paid clinic in the evening. You know the time taken to meet the doctor . It is just 4 hours in the morning . He wrote tests and the time taken for test like blood and urine test is 2 hours because i have to stand in a que. For CT Scan i have to come next day. For taking reports two days later. In the evening doctor consultation is to paid . Well it is very nominal just Rs. 300 Because he is a very good doctor the time takes to get him in the evening is around 3 hours including the late coming of the doctor. The test costed me 12000 because i do not have a white card. Now tell me shall I go to government hospital when so many good doctors are available in the market but on payment of consultation 600 per visit. Of course choice is mine.
