Cheating by MATRIX SIM card for overseas travel
This is to make aware all consumers who will be trapped to buy MATRIX SIM card . I second time purchased SIM card while traveling to Korea and it didn't work. The support Team don't reply to your emails nor refund the money. Secondly what they don't inform is that people who wish to reach you overseas have to actually dial a UK number for which the caller has to pay heavily.The calling number they print is not affixed with +sign and the number starting is UK international code. Such companies have to be pulled in consumer court. more

Hi everyone including Pradeep. I had very categorically written to everyone in our circle a year ago, about the Matrix Mafia and how they cheated me and I had to go to the police and finally the Prime Minister's office helped out. I wrote to the Prime Minister why they are allowing such companies to still exist when there are thousands of complaints against Matrix, so what do we at Local Circles do? We should all write to the PM and Arun Jaitley stopping Matrix from operating in India. Hope the local circles manager can come up with a solution as this company needs to be stopped. more

I had a similar & equally bad Experience with MATRIX - they quietly transferred an earlier Customer's pending overdue Payment for the same SIM Card ( transferred to me ) to my bill & threatened Legal Action when I observed that the amount was exorbitant & refused to pay - I had complained to TRAI about MATRIX but received no response. I strongly feel that TRAI should assume Jurisdiction to include MATRIX & set Rules to be followed & also discourage such Mal-practices. more

Yes, MATRIX is not a honest Co. Whatever they take as advance,they email additional charges,terms and conditions before activating the SIM. Even-if you don't accept their additional charges, terms and conditions, they will activate the SIM just before you return from abroad. On your return from abroad, they will collect the SIM and ask for payment of a very highly inflated bill for payment and threaten for early payment in full. Even-if actual agreed charges are paid by you, you will regularly receive threatening emails, legal notices and their people visiting your residence to recover the amount from you. Being a peace loving common man, once you pay that inflated amount also, you will receive regular follow up demand emails, threatening you to damage your credit records.Your phone calls at your cost will not be replied respectfully and they will not assure you to stop follow up even then you give reference to all unreasonable payments made to them.
