Cheating by M/s Karvy Wealth Services
I am been cheated by M/s Karvy Wealth services. They marketed a product in which I get a good returns for investment . The company which was recommended was suppose to have joint venture with state Government.
The company issued post dated cheques for the interest amount and principal amount. The investment was for a period of 24 months. The cheques were encashed without any problem for 18 months. But after that the cheques bounced.
The Karvy is not taking any responsibility to sort out the issue. On enquiry it is noticed that the company does not have any JV with state Government.
M/s Karvy has cheated us. It has also collected commission for investment.
Now I want file Cheating case against KRVY Wealth services.
Can any body guide me how to file a cheating case and where to file to resolve at the earliest. more

You can have multiple of Actions like that of Complaint U/s 138 of N.I. Act, Filing of Civil, Criminal and Consumer complaint, Complaint to SEBI - Multifariously. Pl. opt for the same subject to the time, efforts and Money, but surely you have good case. more

nothing is working and my only recourse as all the officials of indian financial service sectors are well aware of this scam of cheating i am planning to take this issue in wikileaks as how indian investment is looted that under the guidance of RBI SEBI NSE BSE and NSDL and CDSL its an organised looting so its unsafe to invest in india would me report and while doing so i am planning to psot the family tree of all those emplyees in wikileaks more

Shri Govinda Rajuji, Please present the cheques for payment once again if they are not stale. If they are once again returned unpaid please keep the returned cheque and covering schedule giving the reason "Funds Insufficient" safely and sent a notice to the issuer of the cheque to pay within 15 days. If they still do not pay please file a criminal complaint with the local police giving attested copies of the instrument and covering schedule and perhaps a statement of your account with your bank wherein you deposited the cheque which was returned. You can file a criminal case with the local police. The case can be filed only against the drawer of the cheque, not the marketing agent. For the marketing agent do you have any communication from them stating that the company is having a Joint Venture with the State Government? You have to go through their prospectus very carefully and identify which are the misleading statements made by them. If you can substantiate that misleading statements were made which are not borne out by subsequent facts then only you can file a criminal complaint against the marketing agency. This also with the local police. I take it you are residing in the same city as Karvy Wealth Services. Moreover since they have collected commission from you for their services you could file a complaint with the Consumer Grievances Forum in your city. You have to weigh the pros and cons of the various avenues open for you with the amount involved as it may require time, persistence and effort not to speak of costs. 1.Filing FIR over cheating is simple. Go to your jurisdictional Police station and File a writen complaint. 2. But as U said, a few Cheques bounced after presentation, you should have followed a simple procedure under sec.138 of CPC for bouncing of case ,viz; give a notice to pay in cash of the bounced cheque amount within 15 days,failing which you have another month to file a criminal case under sec. 138. If the time limit is over, does not matter. you can again present the same cheques to the bank if the date of issue is within 3 months. If bounces again, pl. follow the above procedure under sec. 138 of C P C more
