CHEATING IN PETROL BUNKS
We often find that petrol or diesel taken by us from Petrol bunks are showing less quantity after some time when we check our Mileage of 2 wheeler or car but we cannot o anything at that time as no one will accept that they have delivered less quantity.We also find that chips used by Petrol bunks are mostly tampered and therefore we wish that weights and measures dept should supply the METERS/CHIPS used for measuring quantity and seal it like electricity meters and any tempering need to be dealt strictly since most of the owners have political support and don't care for law more

yes meters are tampered . It is proved that in Telanana Minister himself checked a petrol bunk and found that there are two chips. One is with correct meter and other one is tampered. Unfortunately for us it is very difficult to prove that the meters at the petrol pump are tampered. It could be problem with your vehicles also. How can you say that meter is tampered. Customers should force the Government to initiate the programmer taking oil companies as a partner to develop a system where calibrations of these pumps are checked every quarter to check its accuracy. more
