Cheating of money
Greetings.
I am a senior citizen.
3 years ago, one resort called springhills resort advertised and made me a member of their socalled resort and I paid Rs. 35000 as membership fee for 7 years on the assuurance that they will provide 7 days holidays every year. But they seemed to be fraud and is not responding to my request for refund, nor they are providing any service.
Pl advise me how to go about and help me getting my refund.

Where are you from ie Are you from Kerala. Check Which wing of Police Dept will deal such economic offence . Make complaint with such wing to a highest authority . more

Dear Mr. Krishnamoorthy, Most of the such schemes even by the branded clubs and resorts are misleading and it is the perspective buyer who does not either understand the terms and conditions of the offer or seek information to explore further. I am quiet sure you would not have taken any written offer with terms and conditions before making any payment. In case the company is genuine the fraudulent angle is ruled out and even in that case the refund is not possible even if you go to consumer forum etc. In case the company is fraudulent, you have the only way of reporting the matter to police or EOW etc. While on above, please be careful even if you are planning to take membership of Country Club or Mahindra Club etc. more

i advise you to submit a written complaint to ECONOMIC OFFENCES WING existing in your state police deputy. more
