checknshop.com-a fraud online store

I came across an online store called checknshop.com selling a variety of things. I ordered a saree which specified Bhagalpuri Silk as fabric. It turned out to be a cheap junk piece of synthetic material with pathetic printing. The site specifies return policy. Contacted them umpteen times through mails and whatsapp but no response. Instead of responding, they have blocked me on whatsapp and facebook and hang up phone as soon as I introduce myself.
I would like to caution everyone against shopping on this website. Unfortunately In India, pursuing such case with consumer forums is not worth time and effort. That is why such frauds have free run. more

I have purchased an used car M800 bearing No. AP30C6556 from Varun Motors pvt Ltd., 0n 7-09-2012 and from the date of its purchase I have incurred huge amount for its repairs for each K.M. They issued two bills for amount of Rs. 63,000/- instead of 65,000/-. The delivery challan issued for Rs. 65,000/-. As such they have avoided showing Rs. 2,000/- deficit towards VAT and IT. They used to sell damaged, scrap, useless and assembled cars with the help of creating Fake RC books and Insurance. The insurance coverage issued by The New India Assurance company policy number 62120031120100000772 valid from 11-05-2012 to 10-5-2013 showing total vehicle value is Rs. 1,05,000/-. The used car M800 bearing No. AP30C6556 is accidental car as such it will not be valued so much high price. The Seller Varun Motors pvt. Ltd True value division is cheating the public by selling assembled cars with the help of RTO and Insurance company. It is desirable to issue suitable enquiry against the Manager Anil and P.Satya @ Satyanarayana, Sales agent for duping the public in selling assembled cars by fitting non-genuine parts, battery etc., When they are selling used certified cars.(See above about the mariti). The certificate should be handed over to the purchaser by keeping one copy with the company. The above matter relating to the company is false. In reality it is different. The said Manager Anil and Sales agent P.Satya @ Satyanarayana not only cheating the public but also cheating the government. So it is desirable to conduct a detailed enquiry against the company and its workers and to save the public. The above version of Maruthi true value is false. I have talked to its manager Anil for several times, wrote a letter to him and sent several Emails, but they did not respond to rectify the defects in the car or to exchange the car. The Manager Anil and its Sales Executive P.Satya @ Satyanarayana are duping the general public (purchasers of used cars) and looting the money by cheating public and government also. I bought the car only because of trust I had on the Maruti True Value though it was non true value maruti-800 and had no warranty. When I bought the car, the car had no battery installed; I have purchased a brand new battery and took the car from showroom. The car started giving me problem right from the first month. Earlier they said me that they had inspected the vehicle, but when I contacted the executive he said they did not inspect the vehicle as it is non maruti vehicle, they simple changed their words and said as it is a non maruti car they cannot help me. I never expected this from Maruti true Value. I got cheated by Varun Motors I, therefore, Humbly pray that to issue a suitable directions to Superintendent of Police, Srikakulam to conduct necessary enquiry against the above company and its employees and also to direct the I.T department to verify the IT returns with bill books and delivery challans for deference amount which was not shown in the IT returns and also to direct the M.V.I or Transport authority to inspect the used vehicles which are kept for sale to issue necessary certificates and its genuine value and to save the public from the cheaters as stated above., and do do needful justice to me. Further they are liable for prosecution U/S 25, 420, 427 r/w Sec. 120B and relevant provision under I.T act and M.V Act and also under section 2 and 12 of Consumer protection act. since I have been still suffering physically and mental agony. I would like to say that you have well and fully trained your managers/staff working in Maruti True value how to cheat the public/customer by selling damaged/scrap cars at high rates. By luckily, recent past about week back your another branch Maruti true value at Hyderabad-70 (RR Dist) highly influenced me to sell a 10 years old Alto VXI (no central locking, remote and automatic door locking system) completely roof damaged (which value might be "0" at least taken 10% depreciation per year according normal prevailing procedure @ Rs. 1.65 lakhs. This is the attitude your company. I made several complaints against your manager of Srikakulam. 532001. Till date you have neither taken any concrete action against your manager nor informed me any thing what is the progress of my complaint. mail@consumergrievance.com 8/29/14 to me Dear Consumer, Thanks for writing to International Consumer Rights Protection Council (ICRPC).
