Circle Approach

All members would like to note that the primary goal of the Swachh Bharat National Circle is to incorporate citizen inputs into policy making. Every whitepaper or checklist generated from this circle is reviewed by senior leadership of Swachh Bharat Mission Directorate (urban) as well as senior Urban Development leadership. Many of your inputs have made into policies like Hazardous Waste, C&D Waste, Plastic Waste Management, etc. Many checklists have been circulated to ULBs.

We also request every member to join their local city level Swachh Bharat circle and engage with citizens and your municipal corporation. We expect to give stron impetus to this local engagement in the months to come so policies can be translated into on ground action in Urban India.

We look forward to your ideas on how to make the process more effective!
