Citizen's duty for ensuring implementation of ban on plastics.
While we all must appreciate the much needed step of imposition of Ban on manufacture (of Polythene of less than 50 micron) by UP Government, it is the bounden duty of all citizens of the State to cooperate & help the Government in ensuring the Ban is implemented on the ground. We all need to adhere to this ban by not asking for a polypack or accepting the same during any purchase. On the contrary must encourage all to carry either paper or cotton bags for making purchases. Must ensure that spare bags are all the time available in our cars/motorcycles/scooters to meet the requirement for use in any emergency purchases. Besides must also avoid in creating unnecessary trash. more

We ourselves deteriorating the health condition of the nation by using plastic carry bag, which is the most culprit. No can improve the condition, if I am not improving my self. more

I really feel strange knowing Ban on plastic carry bag. In today's century you can't deny the use of plastics at all. It is said that plastic bags are responsible for the filth of Ganges, death of cattle and the reason for some other grunges. Argumentatively, I don't think any of housewives throw polythene bags on roads or direct to Ganges. Same way, on the road people tend to throw a plastic bag to a dustbin or at a garbage pile. In any Govt. office there is dustbin and when it is full (including polythene bags of course), what they do for it? They already have made arrangements of Municipality pick-up! isn't it? Draw the conclusion yourself, please! Alternatively, there are the news companies making money out of garbage and Govt. making various uses of it. more

Plastic ban ordinance by government has got many limitations &can meet with little success for not more than 4 months .Use of plStic bags & packed materials have become a routine & habitual activity of very large populaftion .Blanket ban will simply result in Imposing m9netary fines on stockists ,black marketing zindagi& other corrupt practices coupled with many disturbances in business activities &job market .There are other alternative ways to curb &control menace of platstic .aterials more

Why can’t we take decision as whole for all plastic items in use since these items are not bio disposable. more
